Post Crisis Counseling Network (PCCN)
is the first charitable organization in Hong Kong to respond to mental health needs in emergency settings. Established in November 2008 (Charitable Organization No. 91/10067), PCCN is a cross-cultural, non-religious, non-political, and non-profit organization in Hong Kong, dedicated to provide humanitarian assistance addressing people’s mental health and psychosocial wellbeing in the midst of an emergency. Apart from supporting psychological aid in more than 25 disaster areas, we also train counselors in Hong Kong and in disaster-affected communities to provide sustainable mental health care. Our Post Crisis Counseling Training (PCCT) is a self-developed training model to equip mental health professionals and non-professionals with solid skills to support survivors in disaster-stricken areas. Our founding Exective Director Mr. Timothy To is the first Chinese who got the Outstanding Award in the field of the Trauma Psychology from the American Psyhcological Association in 2020 to commend his works for over 10 million survivors in 28 massive disastrous areas.
